When  not selling Real Estate (Tammy is a Realtor with RE/MAX Properties www.HitTheMouse.com) Tammy  enjoys entertaining with her ventriloquist dummy Charlie. Tammy has been a  ventriloquist for over 30 years. She and her  childhood friends, Timmy and Charlie, perform for the Christian ministry, the  mentally handicapped, senior citizens, children's events and many civic events and non-profit  organizations. Tammy has a new character, Jake the Snake, which is an old man dummy in honor of her father-in-law, Jake Chavers, that died in December 2011. Jake's faith in the Lord was unshakeable during his battle with cancer.

Tammy and Charlie's message is simple, "Jesus Loves Me."  Tammy enjoys "Sharing the Love of Jesus Christ" through her friend, Charlie.

Tammy lives in Montgomery but is originally from Vernon, Alabama.  Tammy is a member of  Landmark Church in Montgomery.  She and Charlie teach Sunday School to the 5th and 6th graders. She is married to Scott Chavers of Montgomery  who is a mortgage loan officer with BankTrust. Scott has a 13 year-old son,  Parker, that Tammy loves dearly. They  have two dogs, Doc the Poodle and Boomer  the Taco Terrier.
